The role of Internet in my life and TEA

Posted: June 19, 2007 in Uncategorized

How keen and eager I came back home today. Keen and eager to be a better person, to take action, to work so much harder, to be more aware that balance is the most important thing in one’s life, to enjoy life’s little surprises and never waste time again (I got to the conclusion that time is the greatest gift we have, from God of Mother Nature of our parents or whoever.)

But impossible. Because of course in order not to waste time I need to prioritize and for now all my priorities are only and strictly related to the internet. For the first time in my life I had to admit to myself that (Dios mio!!) I am dependent on the internet. But worrying is caring (or, in japan, loving (wow!)….

The news of the day (never too late to make a start, right?)

Japan has many good point and many bad point. One of the good ones is that there are quite a few plants that they grow (usually without knowing what they are or what uses it could have) and which remind me of home. Right now I am drinking delicious tea of brotherwort (wild savory) and yesterday mint tea and before marigold…lovely! Pure, natural and so much tastier than any of the green or black or Japanese or Chinese or Western tea they sell everywhere (bottled and cold!) like a soft drink (and it’s so bitter!) Furthermore, not only do they never put sugar in their tea, but they sometimes put SALT in it… Well, I suppose anything goes as long as you grow up with it, right?
